A Notebook On The Devil And Exorcism

A Notebook on the Devil and Exorcism

Fr. Dominic Szymanski, OFM Conv. (1899-1951), was a Franciscan priest, theologian, author, and one of the foremost exorcists in 20th century America. Greatly inspired by the Polish Saint, Maximilian Kolbe and further expanding on Kolbe's vision for evangelization and Marian consecration, Father Szymanski established Marytown in 1948 in America.

Today, Marytown is a dynamic center for Catholic evangelization anchored on the twin pillars of Eucharistic and Marian spirituality. It was during the formational years at Marytown that Fr. Szymanski served as an Exorcist and began writing extensively about the principles of spiritual warfare he witnessed in his ministry.

A Notebook on the Devil and Exorcism is a collection of articles dealing with the extraordinary and real life accounts of demonic activity. Fr. Syzmanski wrote this compelling work to address the final conflict between Satan and God and to explain the promise of Mary's final victory foretold in the Book of Genesis.

This prodigious work of Fr. Szymanski's was discovered almost by accident among his personal effects and published after his death. It contains stories so riveting it served as technical "source material" for the 1973 best-selling book and subsequent blockbuster film, The Exorcist. Additional content in the form of personal notes and teachings from St. John Paul II are included in this edition.
