"Juan Diego was walking to Mass early one winter morning when he heard music. He stopped and then heard someone call his name. A beautiful lady was standing on Tepeyac Hill, who identified herself as Mary, the Mother of God. She gave Juan a mission: to go to the bishop and ask for a chapel to be built in her honor. Despite the trouble he had in doing this, Juan always remembered what Mary had said: "Do not be afraid of anything! Am I not your mother?"
The book tells a story about his life, has a prayer, and has a glossary.
