The penny Catechism Revised According to The Catechism of the Catholic Church

The Penny Catechism, originally approved by the Archbishops of England and Wales, has been revised in light of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, American edition, issued in 1994.

Most of the revisions are in the form of additional questions and answers, especially in those sections concerning Divine Revelation and the Sacraments. Some revisions were made to conform to the terminology used in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Others are simply changes to American terminology from the British terminology of earlier editions of the Penny Catechism.

Br. Charles Madden OFM CONV. has provided in a simple teaching format a revised mini-Catechism that compliments the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

This was published by Marytown Press. It was given Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur which are official declarations that a book is free of doctrinal and moral error.

In the Polish-English edition in square brackets, traditional Polish wording of some wording has been added. It is an excellent complementary textbook for learning religion for children, youth and adults.
