To Make All Things New

To Make All Things New

On the Church, Reform and Renewal

In the fourth century, Saint Augustine said that the Church is “ever ancient, ever new”. This remains true today. The Church is a dynamic reality, embodying both the human and the divine, the natural and the supernatural. From the beginning, she has been made up of sinners—all of us baptized who are still working out our salvation—and thus is always in need of renewal.

As a veteran Church staffer and ministry leader, interacting with bishops and cardinals, Jayd Henricks has a unique perspective on Catholicism. He writes about the unseen holiness of many Church leaders as well as the dark underbelly of the institutional Church. This book examines key issues that are affecting life in the family, the parish, the diocese, and beyond, with an eye to the rich wellspring of Catholic Tradition. It cuts through the online chatter and examines what authentic renewal might look like in the Church today.
