The docudrama flows between scenes from the saint's life-- depicted by great Polish actors-- and documentary-style interviews with various experts on St. Maximilian. Included is the testimony of Kazimierz Piechowski, who met Fr. Maximilian during his time as a prisoner in Auschwitz, and was spiritually impacted throughout his life by the future saint's words.
